Ndah Comeback
Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle has not given up hope of seeing
striker George Ndah in action before the end of the season.
Ndah, who has not made a first-team appearance for nearly two years, is currently at a specialised rehabilitation clinic in
Chiswick.
Hoddle said on WOW: "George has still got some way to go before he could be involved in full training but I spoke to him a week or so ago and told him to set himself the target of getting back for the end of the season.
"You need to have goals and although this would be tough I said to him let's see if we can get you back.
"I wouldn't count it out but it will be a matter of whether he can get not just fit but match fit.
"It's been hard on the lad but I hope the change of environment has done him good."

Injury Update
Striker Vio Ganea has taken another step towards his comeback from the knee injury that has
sidelined him his season. He is back in full training again after undergoing a further period of rehabilitation on the cruciate injury he sustained during
Wolves pre-season tour of Norway.
Vio had been hoping to get the go-ahead to play for the reserves earlier this month but his specialist instead recommended a couple more weeks of strengthening work away from the squad.
Boss Glenn Hoddle said on WOW:
"Vio is back with the main group now and looking much better for having done that extra rehab work," says
.
"He had hoped he could have played a reserve game or two by now but the specialist was being careful and said that he thought his muscles needed strengthening further before he risked a game.
"He trained with us yesterday and looked more in tune. He needs a good week's work under his belt now and then we will think about pencilling him in for a reserve match."
Young defender Patrick Flynn has broken a metatarsal bone in his right foot and he will miss the closing stages of the season.
He limped off the pitch just before the end of Wolves reserve win over Liverpool at Wrexham and an X-ray
has confirmed initial fears that the youngster had broken a bone in his foot.
He will have to wear a protective compression boot for the next six weeks and will have the injury reviewed by a specialist during the first week of May.

Wolves took the lead in the 38th minute, Cornes held off a challenge on the left and fed Cameron who slipped a perfect pass through for Cooper who took the ball round the keeper before slotting it home.
Their second came in the 75 minute, from Andrews corner the ball was played back to Cooper who drilled a low shot that hit the inside of the far post and Lowe, up for the corner, was there to convert from virtually on the line.

Davies Scores For England
There was over 8,000 fans at Molineux for England's under 17s European Championship qualifier with Northern Ireland.
Wolves youngster and England captain Mark Davies scored the second of his country's goals in a 3-0 home victory.
Everton striker James Vaughan got England's first in the 20th minute,
Myles Weston fired over a good cross from the left that Irish keeper Trevor Carson could only palm away as far as Gooding. He hammered a shot goalwards and Vaughan was there to head home from close range.
England's second goal came in the 26th minute, Knights centred from the right and the Molineux midfielder ghosted in at the far post to power a header past Carson.
England went three up five minutes after the break (40 minutes per half) following a Weston corner. The ball found its way to Chelsea's Michael Mancienne who scrambled it over the line from point blank range.
England: Button, Golbourne, Mills, Hines, Davies (capt) (Cattermole 69), Ephraim, Knights, Gooding, Weston (Garner 55), Mancienne (Phelan 62), Vaughan.

Oakes Wants New Contract
Goalkeeper Michael Oakes has
insisted he wants to stay at Molineux and help in their push for promotion to
The Premiership.
Promotion is unlikely this season and Oakes doesn't yet know if he
will still be at Molineux next season as his contract is up for renewal in
the summer.
But the 31-year-old has his
destiny in his own hands, as he has been restored to the team by boss Glenn Hoddle and a number of positive displays between now and the
end of the season could lead to a new contract offer.
Oakes has left the club in no
doubt as to his desire, as he said: "I would certainly like to stay
because I really enjoy it at the club.
"I want to be in The
Premiership again and so does this club."

FA Youth Cup Dates
The dates have been set for Wolves FA Youth Cup semi-final against Southampton.
It is a two legged fixture, the first leg will take place at St Mary's Stadium on Wednesday 6th April, kick-off 7pm and then
back at Molineux a week later, Wednesday 13th April, with a 7.30pm
kick-off.
The other semi-final is between Ipswich and Spurs.

Bischoff Back At Molineux
Man City defender Mikkel Bischoff
has rejoined Wolves on loan until the end of the season, with the option to buy the 23-year-old for an agreed undisclosed fee when his temporary contract expires.
Bischoff spent two months at Molineux under Dave Jones earlier in the campaign but his stay was cut short by a shoulder injury he sustained at
Rotherham.
Chief executive Jez Moxey
said: "We've made approaches for Mikkel before but, under Kevin Keegan, we were knocked
back.
"When Kevin left and Stuart Pearce took over, we re-approached the club and a deal was finally agreed on Wednesday night.
"We have paid a significant loan fee for Mikkel (which would be deducted from any full transfer fee) but we think this is the most sensible way to move forward as Glenn Hoddle wants to assess the player.
"Mikkel did well during his time here earlier in the season but, obviously, that was under a different manager and now Glenn wants the opportunity to see him before we commit to a full transfer."
Youngsters Go Pro
Worcester-born forward/midfielder Chris Cornes and Wolverhampton-born defender Martin Riley have signed professional
contracts until June 2008.
Academy manager Chris Evans
said on WOW: "Following on from Glenn Hoddle's comments regarding the quality of young players at Molineux, we are delighted to announce that the manager and the board have given professional contracts to Chris and Martin. It is further evidence of the club's determination to develop it's own outstanding talent.
"These signings help consolidate the future of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
"Glenn has been very pleased with the progress of Chris and Martin. He has monitored them closely since he arrived at the club and he quickly elevated them to training with the first team.
"Both players deserve to be rewarded with their contacts and I am sure they will continue to work hard, learn and improve."

Cup Defeat
Redditch went through to year's Birmingham Senior Cup Final after the Conference North side just edged out young Wolves thanks to an early goal from Simon Hollis.

Reserves Draw
Wolves reserves drew 1-1 with Leon Clarke scoring his 13th goal from just 15 reserve games,
in Wolves first ever visit to Manchester City's Sportcity Athletics Arena.
Man City took the lead in the eighth minute, with a superb goal from Jon Macken who took a pass from Lee Croft and hit a shot on the turn from 25-yards out that flew over Carl Ikeme and into the top corner of the net.
Wolves deservedly drew level after 68 minutes, Clarke who forced the ball home from close range after Ricketts had sent in a low cross following a run down the left.
Man City Reserves: De Vlieger (Weaver 45), Warrender, Collins, D'Laryea, Sommell, Bischoff, Croft, Negouai, Macken (Miller 78), B. Wright-Phillips (Bermingham 67), Ireland.

Coin Throwing
Wolves secretary Richard Skirrow has pledged to take action against anyone found guilty of throwing missiles during the
match with Stoke.
City defender Michael Duberry has claimed he was hit by a coin during Saturday's 1-1 Molineux draw.
The alleged incident was said to have occurred while the defender was receiving treatment from Potters physio Dave Watson in front of the Jack Harris Stand.
Skirrow said: "We understand an object has been recovered which may have been thrown from the crowd.
"We shall review CCTV footage and if an offender is identified then they will be banned from the ground indefinitely.
"We do not condone such behaviour."
Stoke manager Tony Pulis has decided against making a formal complaint following the alleged coin-throwing incident.
Pulis said: "Michael says there were three coins thrown at him and we don't want to see that in football. He gave them to the referee and we'll let him deal with it.
"I will not be making a formal complaint, it's up to the authorities to deal with it as they see fit."

Match Reaction
Boss Glenn Hoddle praised the fans for sticking with his team who scored an injury time equaliser to notch up another 1-1 draw against Stoke.
Speaking after the match, he said: "The fans were magnificent, they supported us to the death. They were at their best today.
"One thing this team has got is character. They didn't give up. It would have been a travesty to have got nothing from the game.
"If we had got the equaliser five or six minutes earlier, we would have gone on and won."
Stoke manager Tony Pullis was unhappy about some of Glenn's pre-match comments regarding the Potters being a physical side. Pullis thought the description disparaging.
"My comments were an honest observation," added Glenn. "The stats will tell you they play the long ball. They don't play six or seven passes on the ground. That's not a criticism - it's an observation.
"And good luck to them - they've come here today and nicked a point."
The boss also added that more loan targets had eluded Wolves. He said "We had two lined up to come in the week and they fell through at the last minute. One of them was the young lad Jeremie Aliadiere from Arsenal ,but that fell be the wayside.
"We still have few options but if we carry on playing like that we might not need them."

U18's Through To Semi-Final
Wolves under 18s went a goal down but
came back to win 2-1 after extra time at Derby County last night. The win puts
them through to an FA Youth Cup semi-final encounter with Southampton.
Academy manager Chris Evans
said on WOW: "To say I'm delighted is an understatement.
"John Perkins prepared the team well and they worked hard tonight.
"Coming here was a test for the boys to see how they could perform away from home.
"Pride Park is a big stadium, the pitch was decent and it was a good atmosphere. The conditions were right so it was going to be who was the best team on the night - and on the night that was us.
"They got their goal against the run of play and it came from an error on our part. Up until then Wayne Hennessey had not been tested.
"But that goal provided us with a test of character and we rose to it.
"Getting through to the semi-final means a lot to me personally and to everyone at the club. And I'm sure it will be a nice boost to our supporters. I'd like to thank those who travelled tonight to support the boys."
Chris was delighted with the contribution of double goalscorer Chris Cornes. He added: "He was the Man of the Match tonight. The manager, Glenn Hoddle, was here watching and he wanted to do well in front of him.
"He's got his reward because he will be in the first team squad for the Stoke game. He will be in and around the first cornesteam players and that will be good experience for him."
The youngster himself was keen to share the praise with his team mates.
"It was a great team effort and the lads are all ecstatic," says Chris.
"I was going to pass the ball (for the equaliser) but I heard someone shout shoot so I did.
"We are all looking forward to playing Southampton. They have had a great season but Manchester City were also favourites to do well in this competition and we beat them in the last round, so bring them on!"

Transfer News
Dean Sturridge has completed his transfer to QPR.
He completed the paperwork this morning and travelled to north London to meet up with his new team mates earlier this afternoon.
The move was completed before the lunchtime deadline to allow him to figure in
QPR's match with Rotherham tomorrow.
Glenn Hoddle has told Paul Ince he can certainly play on for another season.
Ince has already strongly hinted he would like to extend his Wolves career for yet another year after initially considering retirement.
And, after watching the 37-year-old put together a string of hugely influential performances since being appointed manager in December, Hoddle insists there's no reason why his captain can't play on.
Hoddle said: "The only question was whether Paul's legs had gone and I saw that wasn't the case when I saw him in
training.
"The quality and passing ability is still there, but that never leaves you. It is whether you can keep going, not about ability.
"But he still manages to influence the game because of his drive and passion that he demands of himself and his team mates.
"If he keeps that hunger then he certainly has another season in him.
"If he saw people playing around him he would be the first to say 'this isn't happening'. But he has been very influential and has contributed to the side in a positive way and is enjoying his football."
Ince has made it clear he would love to finish his playing days at Wolves and Hoddle said if the midfielder wanted to play on he would not hesitate in recommending the board offered the former England star a deal.
"I wouldn't have thought anyone around the club would say he is not playing well enough to carry on for another year," said Hoddle.
"At Paul's age it is not playing that's the problem, it's the training. Everyone wants to play but it's the days in between that's the problem."
Team News
Wolves: manager Glenn
Hoddle is likely to name an unchanged squad for the home clash with Stoke.
The Molineux boss has no obvious selection problems to contend with after
his side came through the midweek win over Burnley unscathed.
On-loan Tottenham youngster Rohan Ricketts is pressing for a start after
making his debut from off the substitutes' bench against the Clarets.
Mark Clyde (tendinitis), Vio Ganea (knee), George Ndah (thigh) and Matt
Murray (foot) remain absent.
Stoke: have a question
mark hanging over the fitness of influential defender Gerry Taggart.
The former Leicester stopper sustained a head injury during Tuesday's 2-1
defeat at Gillingham, which ended the Potters' six-match unbeaten run.
Taggart required five stitches but is expected to be given the all-clear
for the Molineux clash.
Lewis Neal has shaken off the effects of flu, but defender John Halls
(back) and midfielder John Eustace (bruised knee) remain sidelined.

Sturridge Leaving
Striker Dean Sturridge is poised to move to QPR on a
free, he's expected to sign an 18 month deal subject to personal terms and a medical.
His contract at Molineux was due to end this summer.
He said on WOW: "I had a tremendous three and a half years at Wolves and the fans were always behind me. I used to love it when they gave me the 'Deano' chant.
"I like to think I have given them some excitement during my stay here but unfortunately because of injuries over the last 12 months, and then not being in the team, I didn't make as many appearances as I would have wanted to.
"They are a special set of fans at Molineux and they deserve Premiership football. I hope they get their reward - if not this season then next."
Sturridge joined Wolves from Leicester, initially on loan, in November 2001, signing a full contract on Christmas Eve of that year for £350,000 (plus an extra £25,000 in add-ons).
In all competitions he made 91 appearances for Wolves (including as a substitute) and scored 33 goals.
McGarry Passes Away
Former Wolves manager Bill McGarry has died aged 77 after a long illness.
The former England international guided Ipswich to promotion to the First Division in 1968 before moving to Molineux, where he guided Wanderers to the 1972 Uefa Cup final and 1974 League Cup success.
He enjoyed less success when he was Newcastle manager between 1977-80 and returned for an ill-fated second spell at Wolves which lasted just 61 days in 1985.
His funeral will take place on Saturday in South Africa, when Wolves will hold a minute's silence before their home game with McGarry's hometown club of Stoke.
Reserves Lose
Everton took the lead in the
11th minute, Boyle crossed to James Vaughan who headed past Carl Ikeme at the near post.
In the 23rd minute Wolves drew level. Cameron was fouled 20-yards out in a central position and Keith Andrews drilled a low free-kick through the wall and against the inside of the post. But the ball rebounded against the back of Turner's head and went in.
Against the run of play Everton grabbed what proved to be the winner six minutes from time. The visiting defence failed to clear and Watson chipped the ball over Ikeme from just outside the area.
Everton Reserves: Turner, Wright, Naysmith, Bosnar, Gerrard, Vidarsson (Harris 69), Watson, Plessis, Vaughan, Anichebe, Boyle.
Unused Subs: M. Hughes, Gallagher, Wilson, Phelan.
Yellow Card: Turner.
Wolves Reserves: Ikeme, Flynn, Cooper, Andrews, Bjorklund, Lowe, O'Connor, Clingan, Clarke, Cameron, L. Hughes.
Unused Subs: Spalding, Sheppard, Tulloch.

Match Reaction
Wolves kept alive their slim play-off hopes with a 2-0 win which virtually ended Burnley's hopes of a top-six finish.
Goals by Kenny Miller and Paul Ince secured the Midlanders' fourth Coca-Cola Championship victory under Glenn Hoddle on a night when Burnley were reduced to 10 men by the stoppage time sending-off of central defender John
McGreal.
Wolves have now gone 10 league games unbeaten - and this was a useful starting point for the run of wins they need if they are to win promotion for the second time in three seasons.
Hoddle's men were never remotely threatened and the former England coach said: "We must be doing something right because a lot of teams are coming here with five men across midfield.
"Teams are guarded and waiting for the crowd to turn on us - but we got the breakthrough before any anxiety crept in.
"The results have gone very well for us but I'll still have some sleepless nights thinking of the many other points we deserved to take and haven't.
"Even so, we have one well in front of our own hands and have another home game on Saturday."
Hoddle singled out centre-half Jody Craddock and Ince, the latter of whom made one goal and scored the other.
The 37-year-old chipped the ball into the area in the 38th minute following a short free-kick and Carl Cort's challenge made way for Miller to hook home his 17th goal of the season.
The game was over on the hour when Mark Kennedy's header sent Ince off on a run which ended with a fine 25-yard shot low into the corner.
Burnley were poor and threatened only with a wasteful Frank Sinclair header at 0-0 and a Peter Whittingham shot which bounced out off the body of goalkeeper Michael Oakes.
For the rest of the time, they had their backs to the wall as Lee Naylor's free-kick was superbly touched over and a host of efforts from Cort and Ki-Hyeon Seol flew high or wide.
There was also an entertaining debut from on-loan Tottenham midfielder Rohan Ricketts wide on the left for the last 12 minutes of the game.
Burnley's sorry evening was completed when McGreal, already booked along with Ince following a flare-up, was shown a second yellow card for fouling Naylor.

Wolves: boss Glenn
Hoddle is still likely to be without striker Dean Sturridge.
Sturridge was thought to be ready to make a return from a hamstring injury
against Preston but was not included in the squad, and is again rated as
doubtful.
Mark Clyde is making good progress with tendinitis but still faces a
couple more weeks on the sidelines, as does Romania striker Vio Ganea
(knee).
George Ndah (thigh) and Matt Murray (foot) are long-term absentees.
But Roham Ricketts could make his debut for the club after joining on loan
from Tottenham.
Burnley: boss Steve
Cotterill is set to keep faith in youth for the trip to Wolves.
The Clarets had three inexperienced loanees in the starting XI for
Saturday's 2-1 win over Rotherham and the trio showed their ability in
what Cotterill called "an important win".
Ipswich's highly-rated forward Dean Bowditch made his Clarets debut and
shone alongside two Aston Villa starlets, Peter Whittingham and Gary
Cahill.
"We had a lot of young players out there and it could have been a bit
edgy.
"But Peter Whittingham, Dean Bowditch and Gary Cahill all came
through with flying colours," he told the club's official website.
All three are expected to keep their places for the trip to Molineux.

Match Reaction
Glenn Hoddle felt Ki-Hyeon Seol responded to a half-time blast as the South Korean produced the goal that gave Wolves a 2-2 draw against Preston at
Deepdale.
After Wolves had fallen behind twice, Seol levelled for a second time with 17 minutes remaining when Hoddle moved him in-field to play behind his strikers.
Wolves went in level at 1-1 but Hoddle was far from happy and said: "I wasn't pleased with the way we played first half. I thought we gave the ball away. We won it off them on numerous occasions and gave it straight back, which we haven't been doing.
"There were a few stern words said at half-time, which were needed and I was pleased with the way we responded.
"I felt Seol was getting suffocated out wide, He's played in the diamond position and I felt we needed to get him in the game more so we put him off Carl Cort.
"He suddenly got in the game a lot more for us and they couldn't deal with him.
"He came up with the equaliser and got in another couple of positions where he might have pulled the trigger again.
"I was pleased with the way he responded to the stern words we had at half-time."
Wolves have now drawn 11 of their 15 league matches since Hoddle took charge in December and kept their play-off hopes alive with this hard-earned point.
Seyi Olofinjana left Richard Cresswell unmarked and the North End top-scorer headed home from close range, giving Michael Oakes no chance from Eddie Lewis' cross in the third minute.
The visitors replied with the first proper attack, Lee Naylor's free-kick from the left just sailing over Joleon Lescott, but Jody Craddock was on hand at the far post to fire back across goal
to equalise.
North End did not have to wait long to get in front again. The lively Lewis went down under Lescott's challenge in the box and Graham Alexander thumped home the penalty - his fifth from the spot this season.
Kenny Miller then hit the bar for Wolves before Seol levelled again.
Hoddle thought his team could have gone on to win the game and added: "We looked like the side, when it went to 2-2, that was going to win it.
" I was confident we were going to win the game in the end because we had them on the rack.
"We need to start better but we came back. We never dropped our heads."

Midfielder Joins On Loan
Wolves are to sign 22-year-old midfielder Rohan Ricketts on a month's loan from Spurs.
Ricketts is well known to Glenn Hoddle, he signed him for Spurs on a free from Arsenal, where he had come though the youth ranks, in the summer of 2002.
As the formalities of his loan will not be completed until Monday Ricketts will not be involved in tomorrow's game at Preston.
The former England under 21 star has made eight appearances for Tottenham in all competitions so far this season and spent a month on loan at Coventry in October.
Glenn Hoddle said on WOW:
"I know the lad very well, he has got a lot of talent, and he can improve
further.
"He can play in all the positions across the midfield so he will be a versatile addition to the squad."
Chief executive Jez Moxey
added: "We tried to sign Rohan on loan in the summer but Spurs wouldn't let him go. We are pleased that, with Glenn's influence, we have been able to bring him in.
"The deal is only for a month but we are hoping he does well. If that is the case, the situation will be reviewed with a view to extending the loan to the end of the season."
Team News
Preston: manager Billy
Davies has Gavin Ward back in contention.
The veteran goalkeeper came through a midweek reserve game after being
sidelined with eye bruising since the 1-1 draw with Ipswich last month.
Ward will compete with on-loan shot-stopper Chris Day for a place in
Davies' starting line-up.
However, goalkeeper Andy Lonergan and midfielder Eric Skora are long-term
absentees.
Wolves: manager Glenn
Hoddle can call on the services of full-back Rob Edwards at Preston.
The Wales international was excused duty for last weekend's 4-1 demolition
of Crewe due to an expected birth in the family.
Fellow defender Mark Clyde (tendinitis), Vio Ganea (knee), George Ndah
(thigh) and Matt Murray (foot) remain sidelined.
Striker Dean Sturridge could be in line for a return after recovering from
a hamstring injury but Shaun Newton has joined West Ham on a short-term
deal.

Newton Joins Hammers
Midfielder Shaun Newton has been transferred to West Ham a short-term deal.
Newton would have been out of contract at the end of this season and West
Ham have paid £10,000, with an agreed add-on of £115,000 if they win promotion.
Manager Glenn Hoddle said on WOW:
"We are happy to let Shaun go for a nominal fee as he is so close to the end of his
contract.
"He hasn't been in the first team in recent weeks and it is better for all parties if he can get a move and be playing somewhere else.
"Shaun is a good pro and I'm sure he will do well for West Ham. We wish him all the best."
Hoddle added that he was hoping to bring in a midfielder on loan in the next 24 hours.
Shaun Newton joined Wolves in the summer of 2001 for an initial fee of £850,000
from Charlton. He was in the team that beat Sheff Utd in the play-off final of 2003. This season he has made 21 League starts.

Murray Injury Update
Goalkeeper Matt Murray has begun rehabilitation from his foot operation, and
is hoping for a pre-season return.
He underwent a second operation to a stress fracture to his foot in January,
and is currently in plaster but is carrying out strengthening work in the gym.
Murray said on WOW:
"My aim is to get it all right so that I am back again and ready for
pre-season.
"While I don't want to set any exact dates, that's what my hopes are for. I will wait and see how the next round of scans go, and if they are fine then I can push on to try and make sure that I'm ready for the start of next season.
"Although I'm no expert, I do know that it's a pivotal bone that's been broken, which is important when moving the foot. The problem is that it's surrounded by a lot of other bones and so the blood supply is poor, which affects the healing process. That means that it takes longer than other injuries to heal, but I have been here before and so know that I need to be patient."

Reserves Win
Wolves reserves beat Sunderland reserves 1-0 with young striker Leon
Clarke getting his 12th goal from just 13 reserve games this season.
It wasn't until 20 seconds into the one minute of added time at the end of the
game that Wolves scored.
Taylor fouled Clarke to the left of the Sunderland box and when Clingan fired the kick over to the far post, Cornes was there to head back into the six-yard box where Clarke was waiting to force the ball home and win it for Wolves.
Wolves Reserves: Ikeme, P. Flynn, Rafferty, Clingan, Bjorklund, Lowe, Gobern (Cornes 42), Davies (O'Connor 81), Sturridge, Cameron, Clarke.
Unused Subs: Hennessey, Riley, Stewart.
Sunderland Reserves: Alnwick, Taylor, Smith, D. Collins, N. Collins, Holden, Kingsberry, Leadbitter, Brown, Poole, Dennehy (N. Flynn 75).
Unused Subs: Ryan, Ingham, Wanless, Hartley.
Yellow Card: Smith.
Attendance: 330.

Ince Wants Hoddle To Stay
Wolves captain Paul Ince has rubbished rumours linking him with the manager's job next season.
Reports have suggested Ince has been lined-up to succeed Glenn Hoddle at the helm at Molineux for next season.
Hoddle is only on a short-term deal at Molineux and is uncertain whether or not he will stay at the club after the end of the season.
Ince was unhappy with the reports and hopes Hoddle will stay.
"I was very disappointed by the reports. I'm 100 percent behind the gaffer and I want to play for him," said Ince.
"Hopefully, if I can keep playing the way I am, I can play for him next year if he's asked to stay.
"It was a bit disappointing and a bit upsetting to see that kind of rubbish on the back of the papers.
"But me and the gaffer are big enough and we know it's someone trying to be mischievous."

Match Reaction
Glenn Hoddle believes the
"penny has dropped" for his Wolves side following their 4-1 romp
at Crewe.
Carl Cort and Kenny Miller each scored twice after Kenny Lunt had given
the home side the lead at the end of a week which saw Hoddle's future at
the club called into question.
Victory ended a run of five successive draws for the Molineux side, who
picked up their third league win since Hoddle took charge in December.
Wolves are now eight points
off the play-offs and following on from a 3-3 draw at Derby in midweek,
Hoddle feels his team are starting to click, with his strikeforce looking
more dangerous and his defence more solid.
He said: "We dominated
and we looked better and better. We've got ourselves in good areas in the
last third all season and perhaps in the last two games, the penny's
dropped that we've got to be more clinical. The movement's better and we
do look like scoring and we're a more clinical side.
"Seven goals in two away games is not a bad stat to have and we've
conceded from two penalties and a free-kick that was super goal and a late
set-play so we're not conceding goals from open play."
It had looked very different
for Hoddle's side after Cort conceded a penalty for handball, which Lunt
dispatched, in the 11th minute.
But Cort equalised two minutes later and added another in first-half
stoppage time after Miller had given the visitors the lead with a
spot-kick awarded for Neil Sorvel's challenge on Paul Ince.
Miller added a fourth in the 59th minute but Hoddle felt the speed with
which the equaliser came was crucial.
He said: "Crewe have got
good players but we were dominant right through the game. When you do
concede away from home if you go half an hour without getting one back it
can be a problem but we got the goal, it was a terrific goal and Carl made
up for the penalty.
"We kept the momentum, we didn't come down from that which I thought
was important."

Fixture Update
Wolves home game with Ipswich has been moved from Saturday 9th April to
Monday 11th April with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The match has been moved to be shown live by Sky television.
Wolves Reject Manager Rumour
Wolves have rejected reports they have already decided Glenn Hoddle's future.
Reports on Friday claimed the club would not be renewing Hoddle's contract, with Paul Ince taking over as manager.
But Wolves have rejected the suggestions and insist Hoddle's position at Molineux will not be discussed until the summer.
Hoddle took charge at Wolves in December and initially signed a six-month deal.
Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey is adamant that the club's stance regarding Hoddle has not changed.
He said on WOW: "We have always made our position regarding Glenn's contract clear, in that we will sit down and talk about the future at the end of the season, when we know where we are. This agreement has not changed."
Team News
Crewe: manager Dario Gradi will be without suspended defender Stephen Foster.
Gradi's appeal against the 24-year-old's red card in the 3-0 defeat at Plymouth was unsuccessful and he serves a one-match ban.
Adie Moses (hamstring) has trained all week and is vying with Richard Walker for Foster's place, while new signing Darren Moss may make his debut at right-back.
Billy Jones has recovered from a thigh problem but is not likely to be risked.
Wolves: are sweating on the fitness of Rob Edwards and Mark Kennedy ahead of the trip.
Edwards and Kennedy suffered knocks in the 3-3 draw with Derby on Wednesday but manager Glenn Hoddle is confident they will be available against the
Railwaymen.
Strikers Vio Ganea and George Ndah continue their recovery from cruciate knee ligament and thigh injuries respectively but remain sidelined.
Forward Dean Sturridge has a hamstring injury and goalkeeper Matt Murray is still out of action with a broken foot.

Police Raids
In early morning
raids Police have arrested 17 people in connection with trouble which flared following Wolves' match with West Ham in October.
Wolves lost 1-0 at Upton Park on October 2, 2004, and shortly afterwards a small number of supporters were involved in a serious incident in central London.
This morning's pre-planned operation between the Metropolitan and West Midlands forces saw a number of addresses raided in and around the Wolverhampton area.
Chief executive Jez Moxey said
on WOW: "Wolverhampton Wanderers fully supports the police authorities in taking action to arrest those people who are suspected of football-related violence and or criminal
activity.
"We have a zero tolerance policy for this type of behaviour and any Wolves supporter who is convicted of a football-related offence will be banned from attending matches at Molineux indefinitely.
"People perpetrating such crimes should stay away from football altogether. It is time this type of sickening behaviour stops and I will call on all self-respecting football fans to join us in the fight to eradicate these people from our game."
Match Reaction
Wolves manager Glenn Hoddle was left cursing his luck after a stoppage-time goal condemned his Coca-Cola Championship team to a 10th draw in 13 games.
Wolves looked to have won it when Carl Cort scored in the 90th minute - but Derby substitute Marco Reich headed an equaliser in the second minute of added time.
That capped an incredible clash in which both managers were baffled by referee Iain Williamson's decision to make Inigo Idiakez take a penalty three times.
Hoddle said: "I think I must have run over six black cats since I've been at Wolves.
"I didn't think it was a penalty in the first place - that's my opinion but that doesn't matter much, then the farcical stuff started.
"I believe the first retake was for encroachment and then Michael Oakes made a magnificent save but the ref gave another retake - and it was inevitable that they would score.
"In my opinion it was poor decisions and they've gone against us."
Hoddle admitted he had not trusted himself to speak to the referee at the final whistle, explaining: "I wasn't in the right frame of mind to talk to him in a constructive way.
"I thought it was best that I got out of his way as quick as possible in the tunnel."
But the consolation for Hoddle was the performance of his team.
He said: "I'm absolutely delighted with the way my team played, I thought that was the best we have performed all season.
"I feel sorry for my players because we certainly deserve a lot more points. In many ways to go 13 games and lose only one in this league shows we've taken a lot of strides.
"We may not have got the amount of points on the board but there is a story behind the story."

Birmingham Senior Cup Win
A young Wolves team were made to fight all the way against a determined Moor Green side before securing a 3-1 victory and a place in the
semi final of this season's Birmingham Senior Cup.
The first goal didn't come
until the 63rd minute when Wolves took the lead. Clingan controlled Mark Little's low cross and pushed the ball to Cornes whose shot was too powerful for Rachel to keep out despite the keeper getting a hand to it.
Wolves second came in the 80th minute, Stewart ran on to a Cornes pass and hit a first time shot that appeared to go through Rachel's outstretched hands.
Moor Green pulled one back when Junior English, who had only been on the field for two minutes, provided Owen with the easiest of chances
with a low cross that was tucked home at the far post from just a yard out.
In the final minute Stewart got Wolves third, he controlled Elliott Bennett's overhead kick and slid the ball past Rachel to
send Wolves into the semi-final against Redditch.
Moor Green: Rachel, Foy (English 81), Follett, Collins, Sanders, Petty, Faulds, Davis, Owen, Martin (Bridgewater 76), Trainer.
Unused Sub: Frain.
Wolves: Ikeme, Little, Flynn, Clingan, Lowe, Riley (Collins 72), Gobern, O'Connor, Stewart, Fitzpatrick (Bennett 76), Cornes.
Unused Subs: Hughes, Hennessey, Ferron.

Team News
Derby: manager George
Burley is hoping that striker Tommy Smith will be fit in time to face
Wolves.
The former Sunderland forward has missed the last two games with a hip
injury but returned to full training at the start of the week and could be
in contention for the game.
Midfielder Inigo Idiakez has been suffering with a cold but is expected to
be fit but Michael Johnson, Paul Boertien (both knee), Jamie Vincent
(calf) and Richard Jackson (groin) are out.
Wolves: meanwhile have
no new injury worries.
Mark Clyde is still struggling with an ankle knock and is expected to miss
out again, while strikers Vio Ganea and George Ndah continue their
recovery from cruciate knee ligament and thigh injuries respectively.
Fellow forward Dean Sturridge has a hamstring injury and goalkeeper Matt
Murray remains sidelined with his broken foot.
