Building bridges with the management

The bright lights and endless cash of the Premiership may seem a long way off for struggling Wolves, but the Midlands club's faithful aren't giving up hope.

Fans website editor Gavin Wilkes said: "We're not in a good way at the moment, but we certainly have the potential to make it to the Premiership.

"And if we do get there, we'll have the support and resources to make sure we don't go back down straight away."

Wolves fans have offered out a hand of friendship to the boardroom after club owner Sir Jack Hayward was caught in the middle of a demonstration.

Michael Knowles of the Wolves On-Line Forum said: "We would like to build bridges to the board and management, rather than to break them with hostility.

"I would welcome a civilised meeting with Sir Jack and MD Jez Moxey."

"Over the past 10 years we have seen what has happened to our club from a fan's perspective.

"But many of us feel we have our hands tied behind our backs, and have not been listened to."
